Choosing the right UPS

• Add up the power in watts (W) of the equipment to protect and keep a margin of about 30%: the UPS should not run permanently above 70 to 80% of its rating.
• Check the number and type of outlets (IEC C13, C19, Schuko, terminal block) against your equipment's power cords.
• For longer runtime, choose a model with extendable runtime or an ER version to connect to battery cabinets.
• For automatic and clean shutdown of your servers, use the USB/RS232 port or a network card in the communication slot.

Replacement batteries
