Riello Protect Plus UPS
What are they used for?
Off-line (VFD) technology passes mains power through while it is present and switches to battery within a few milliseconds when the power fails. It is the most economical way to protect a desktop computer, internet box, NAS or cash register against power cuts and surges.

Choosing the right UPS
- Add up the power in watts (W) of the equipment to protect and keep a margin of about 30%: the UPS should not run permanently above 70 to 80% of its rating.
- Check the number and type of outlets (IEC C13, C19, Schuko, terminal block) against your equipment's power cords.
- For longer runtime, choose a model with extendable runtime or an ER version to connect to battery cabinets.
- For automatic and clean shutdown of your servers, use the USB/RS232 port or a network card in the communication slot.
Replacement batteries
