What are they used for?
Line-interactive technology adds an automatic voltage regulator (AVR): voltage dips and surges are corrected without drawing on the battery, which preserves runtime and battery life. It is the right compromise for demanding workstations, small servers, network racks and CCTV.

Choosing the right UPS
- Add up the power in watts (W) of the equipment to protect and keep a margin of about 30%: the UPS should not run permanently above 70 to 80% of its rating.
- Check the number and type of outlets (IEC C13, C19, Schuko, terminal block) against your equipment's power cords.
- For longer runtime, choose a model with extendable runtime or an ER version to connect to battery cabinets.
- For automatic and clean shutdown of your servers, use the USB/RS232 port or a network card in the communication slot.
