Protection
Thanks to AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) technology, the APC Back-UPS Pro increases application availability by correcting undervoltages and overvoltages without drawing on the battery.
By using the Powerchute software supplied with the UPS, you can be sure that your files are saved and that the operating system will be shut down properly in the event of a prolonged power outage.
Battery-backed outlets make it possible to reserve power capacity and runtime for the connected equipment that needs battery backup, while protecting less critical equipment against surges only.
Availability
An audible alarm proactively warns you of any fluctuation in the power supply to your UPS or your installation.
A battery self-test is performed every two weeks to ensure early detection of the need to replace a battery.
The intelligent battery management of the APC Back-UPS Pro maximizes battery performance, service life and reliability through an intelligent, precision charging process.
Convenience
The LCD display of the APC Back-UPS Pro uses text and schematic diagrams to display operating modes, system parameters and alarms.
You can power up the unit without input power. This way, you have battery backup power when utility power is cut off.
The APC Back-UPS Pro batteries can be replaced without cutting power to your equipment.
