Your products are guaranteed
All our products are new and benefit from the statutory guarantees, in addition to the manufacturer's guarantee. Here is what is covered and how to proceed in the event of a fault.
The guarantees you benefit from
Legal guarantee of conformity
For 2 years after delivery, a lack of conformity is repaired or the product is replaced, free of charge. For a new product, you do not have to prove that the defect existed at the time of delivery.
Guarantee against hidden defects
A hidden defect, existing prior to the sale, which renders the product unfit for its intended use entitles you to cancellation of the sale or a reduction in the price (action to be brought within 2 years of its discovery).
Manufacturer's guarantee
Most UPS units and batteries are also covered by the manufacturer's guarantee. Its duration and conditions are indicated on the product page and in its documentation.
Guarantee extension
For many UPS units, you can extend the manufacturer's guarantee (for example Eaton Warranty+ or Eaton Warranty5, up to 5 years in total): the extension is offered as an option on the product page or can be added to your basket. Please contact us for advice if you cannot find it for your model.
Your product has failed: what should you do?
- Contact usPlease provide your order number, the model and its serial number, a description of the fault and, if possible, photos or a video (indicator lights, error message).
- DiagnosisWe will check the installation and settings with you: many "faults" can be resolved remotely. Otherwise, we will tell you the steps to follow.
- HandlingDepending on the case, the product is returned to us or handled directly by the manufacturer. Under the statutory guarantees, return shipping costs are not borne by you.
- Repair or replacementThe product is repaired or replaced. If this is not possible, you are refunded or receive a reduction in the price.
What the guarantee does not cover
- Normal wear and tear, in particular that of batteries: their lifespan depends on temperature, the number of power cuts and age (generally expect 3 to 5 years for a lead-acid battery in a temperate room).
- Installation, connection, use or storage that does not comply with the manufacturer's recommendations.
- A product that has been modified, opened or repaired by an unauthorised person.
- Damage due to an external power surge, lightning, water damage, impact or a case of force majeure.
For professionals, the applicable guarantees are specified in the professional terms of sale; for consumers, in the general terms and conditions of sale.
