4 position chassis, 1U, for replaceable data line surge protection modules_PRM4
Most induced surge damage results from voltage surges and spikes carried along unprotected data lines. These surges come from various sources, including the build-up of electrostatic discharges and lightning. If left unprotected, your data lines expose network cards, A/V components, modems and other network equipment to electrical transients that can cause damage.
The rack-mountable ProtectNet product line offers a modular approach to providing protection for various data lines, including network and telephone lines, coaxial cables, etc. Installing any combination of individual surge protection modules in a four- or 24-position chassis and connecting them to ground will prevent indirect surges from harming your productivity and will help you avoid the costs associated with electrical damage.
