UPS, Double-Conversion (on-line), 0.9 power factor

Performance and Efficiency
On-line double-conversion topology. The Eaton 9PX UPS isolates connected equipment from all power grid disturbances by constantly regulating voltage and frequency.
Up to 95% efficiency in on-line double-conversion mode and 98% in high-efficiency mode. Eaton 9PX offers the highest efficiency in its class and helps reduce energy and cooling costs.
With a power factor of 0.9, Eaton 9PX delivers 28% more power in Watts than most other UPS in its class.

With its convertible rack/tower format, Eaton 9PX offers up to 7200W of power in 6U of height.

Flexibility of use
Its new multilingual graphic LCD display shows clear information on the UPS status. The display can be rotated to provide the best possible view in rack or tower configuration.
Eaton 9PX can measure energy consumption and manage kWh via the LCD display or via Intelligent Power, Eaton's energy management software.
Load segment control makes it possible to reserve battery runtime for critical equipment. It also makes it possible to remotely restart frozen IT equipment or to perform sequential shutdowns/restarts.
Eaton 9PX comes standard with a USB port, a serial port and dry contacts, as well as a slot for an optional card (the network card is included as standard in the NetPack versions).

It is supplied with Eaton's energy management software, Intelligent Power, compatible with all major operating systems, including virtual environments such as VMware and Hyper-V.

Availability and Flexibility
Its internal bypass ensures continuity of service in the event of a UPS fault. A maintenance bypass (Hotswap MBP) makes it possible to replace the UPS without cutting the power to the connected equipment.
Intelligent battery management through Eaton's ABM technology, which only recharges the batteries when necessary: it prevents their corrosion and gives them up to 50% longer service life.
Its runtime can be extended from a few minutes to several hours by adding external battery cabinets (up to 12) that can be hot-plugged. These batteries are automatically detected by the UPS, with no user intervention.
