Performance and efficiency

The 9PX UPS is the first in its class to provide a unity power factor (VA=W). It therefore delivers 11% more power than any other UPS and can power a greater number of servers.
Energy Star certified, the 9PX offers maximum energy efficiency, for minimal electricity and cooling costs.
With its on-line double conversion topology, the 9PX UPS continuously monitors the power supply conditions and regulates voltage and frequency.
With its convertible Tower or Rack installation format, the 9PX is the most compact solution: only 2U in size, for no less than 3000 W delivered.

Ease of use

The unique graphical LCD screen clearly displays the UPS status and power data. The unit also lends itself to advanced configuration.
It can measure power consumption down to the level of the output groups and allows kWh values to be monitored via its display or the Eaton Intelligent Power® software.
Load segment control (on the output sockets) ensures that non-essential equipment is shut down first, maximizing the runtime of critical devices.
The 9PX is equipped with serial and USB connectors, as well as a slot for a communication card (optional, except on the Netpack model, where it is automatically included). The Eaton Intelligent Power® software ensures seamless integration with the most widely used virtualization environments and cloud management tools.

Availability and flexibility

The 9PX 2200 & 3000 are available in RT2U format (optimized for rack installation) or RT3U (tower or shallow racks). Each model is supplied with feet and a rack-mounting kit.
The internal bypass ensures continuity of service in the event of a unit failure. We also offer an external maintenance bypass (standard on the HotSwap version) that makes replacing the UPS easier.
Extended battery life: the Eaton ABM® battery management system relies on a three-stage charging technique that extends battery life by nearly 50%.
For extended runtime, up to 4 hot-swappable battery modules can be added if necessary. The backup power will then run for several hours.
